What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer for buying a second hand bajaj motorcycle at 1,200,000ugx, my husband does bajaj business and gets money to cater for family needs. I also bought the bed, mattress and food.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly did well to give us money that has relieved us from poverty.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is very different than it would have been if i never received money in that i can now afford three meals a day unlike before when my family had a meal once a day. I also dress well, to me this is a very big difference.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
My first transfer was spent to buy my spouse a phone, bought a solar panel, clothes, a big mattress,a bed, a cow, aquired a piece of land for gardening, and saved some for taking care my child's health.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i recieved my money, I felt so happy to extent of losing sleep that night. This is after neighbourhood noise of people jubilating woke me up from sleep.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life now is i feed better than before, able to afford meat, fish and have tea as breakfast.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is sickness.My family spends alost of money on treating deadly typhoid that attacks me always. It's therefore making us fail to save money that could help in family development like buying house hold items such as beddings and food for feeding.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest moment always is in the afternoon hours. This when I crack interesting stories with neighbours, I smile and relax.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
My spouse and i plan to buy animals.This shall be given to my parents as dowry, thus formalising our stay as husband and wife traditionally.
