How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I can now afford to buy what I desire. My health has also improved and I live a happy life.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly has done well by supporting poor people in my community by giving cash transfers. I don't see what Give Directly has not done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I recieved my second transfers, I used it to help me in farming(weeding) in order to guard against food insecurity. I used part of it for feeding and paying medical bills of my daughter and myself. I have the balance of 500,000ugx which I have kept to cater for household emergencies.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first to buy food stuff, ploughing gardens and kept balance safely to use, likely to buy a new door for my house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i recieved my money, i was so happy that jumping up became easy despite the old age.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is, i can afford to acquire life necessities like food, sugar, soap and salt.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is lack of money to facilitate my treatment.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My sickly body does not feel comfortable under hot sunshine, so my happiest moment is during evening hours when is not too hot.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means to renovate my small ironroofed house and treatment, constantly am sickly but have no money to enable me get better medication.
