What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my third transfer on buying a dairy cow and two sheep and now I am proud that I have my own livestock since in my society having livestock is a sigh of wealth and respect . I bought a household utensils ,school sweater for my children and school shoes as well.I also bought one bag of maize for my family's consumption.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I have livestock such as a dairy cow and two sheep and now I am proud that I have my own livestock since in my society having livestock is a sigh of wealth and respect .
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well by giving money directly to the poorest households through their Mpesa accounts and this enabled the targeted group to truly get the money.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying a dairy cow and at the moment it has already given birth to a calf hence I am assured of getting milk from it thus I will no longer buy milk any more. I bought two goats and two sheep. I feel blessed as I have my own livestock through GiveDirectly and my family members are really enjoying rearing their own livestock unlike before where they could just admire their neighbor's livestock.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have a dairy cow and at the moment it has already given birth to a calf hence I am assured of getting milk from it thus I will no longer buy milk any more. What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on planting vegetables and bought maize for feeding the family. I also gave my wife a capital of 3000 KES to spend on buying kilograms of sugar for her business.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I am planning to buy a public service vehicle for transport business. This will be a joint effort of three other friends who are also collecting more funds. If this plan fails, I will spend my transfer on farming since that is my main economic activity.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Our plan is to invest part of our transfer on business,a shop to be exact ,we also intend to use the remaining amount to invest in vegetables farming.We grow Kales,tomatoes and Watermelon in our farm.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievements we're proudest of is having been able to buy a water pump which has been of great help in helping us move water from a nearby river to our farm.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Our biggest hardship currently is on making ends meet since our farm has not been doing well lately due to lack of proper farm equipment and inadequate rainfall.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is normally in the morning when I'm attending to my vegetables farm.This is the main source of income we have hence most of my time is spent on it.
