How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Prior to receiving these transfers, I used to sleep poorly. My house could leak whenever it rained. There was no difference between me and a homeless person who did not have where to lay a head at night. My life is different now because I sleep well in a iron roofed house. I'm no longer scared of rain like I did before getting money. Therefore, I live a happy life and I would like to thank GD for elavating my standards of living from sleeping in a grass thatched house to iron roofed.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly is so unique in the sense that these money was sent directly to recipients. Secondly GiveDirectly allows me to spend my transfer the way I choose. On the other hand I haven't seen anything wrong done by GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my transfer on building a permanent iron roofed house.
