We spent 26,000 KES to buy a cow, bought 15 iron sheets for 9,750 KES, nails for 1,200 KES, two bags of maize for 3,400 KES, a goat for 3,000 KES and the rest was spent on buying food in the house.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to expand my house because it's small and I host church visitors frequently, plaster it to save me time and money for smearing, and start livestock rearing so that I can raise money to educate my grandchildren in future.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that I have a dairy cow that I purchased with my proceeds from farming and so I no longer have to spend money on buying milk.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face in my life is poor health. I contracted HIV after my spouse eloped with an infected woman and for the last three years I have become so weak and not able to work as hard as before.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the evening when my family is gathered for dinner and my children are happily telling stories of how their day was.
