How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Currently, my life has changed in that, I am happy because I have never held such a big amount of money like this in my life, money which is given without strings attached to it. previously, I used to split my crop harvest into two, part of it to sell and the other to eat. That small amount of money would not make any significant change in my life.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well with their approach of saturation, all eligible households in the village are enrolled to benefit. I would suggest that GiveDirectly should continue supporting us in the community because no organisation has ever supported poor people like me to this extent.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfer for buying bricks for completing my wall and iron sheets and timber for roofing my three roomed house not forgetting completing payment for labour for the builders. I paid tuition for my children and the balance I Spent on feeding.
