How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
These finacial support have made me debt free, because I use part to settle all my debts. By settling the debts, I was enable to repossess my two acres of land that the money lender had taken. Secondly, I have acquired a ox that has supplemented the one I had for farming.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well to give me financial support that I have used to purchase an ox and settle the debts I had. GiveDirectly has not done bad in anyway for my case.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to purchase a cow, sheep, household Items, uniforms for my children, paid a debt and my spouse spent UGX 35,000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have managed to clear all my debts and recover my pieces of land which were given out as security. I addition, household items like beddings and utensils have been acquired too. Before receiving this transfer, I had a burden of how to clear my debts and ensure that my pieces of land are recovered.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer, I became very happy and thanked God because I was going to pay off all the debts that I had.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent UGX 1,400,000 of my first transfer to pay off debts that I had. In so doing I was able to repossess my two pieces of land that acted as security. The money that was left, I spent on purchasing a mattress, a bed, bed sheets and utensils.

When I receive this money, I will build a house and buy some cows that will help in agriculture.

The happiest part of my day is in the evening when am sitted together with my children.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is sickness in children. My children oftenly get sick and we lack money to pay medical bills.
