What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought 3 cows at 1,100,000 UGX and 2 goats at 100,000 UGX.I also spent 150,000 UGX on medical treatment, then I also bought two mattresses for my children.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly helped me alot and lifted me from the fangs of poverty and gave me a comfortable life. All I wish is if givedirectly could continue giving more cash transfers.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is much better and I am lively again. I was ill and bedridden then but when the second transfer arrived I was able to get appropriate treatment and now I am recovering very well.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
From my first transfer, i used 1,000,000 UGX for paying off the land that i had mortgaged and hired more land at 700,000 UGX
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I received money on my phone at night, happiness filled my heart and with that excitement i didn't sleep till morning.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
This money has brought happiness in my life. I was not relaxed when my land was in another person's castody but now am happy and free to cultivate as i want. I will not be borrowing land again.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship am facing is frequent illness.My children are so sickly.This has become very costly to my household to the extent that i sometimes go to bed hungry because, the little money i could have saved ends up in clinics to pay for medical bills.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is afternoon hours. This is when i listen to interesting stories from neigbour and it releives me.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means i will use it to build a better iron roofed house.My family will sleep in decent facility.
