What did you spend your third transfer on?
I have been a tailor working for people on peace work for a very long time and I realized that this was not rewarding at all and therefore when Give Directly sent me this money, I spent it on a sewing machine and set up my work shop. I am excited to be a boss of my own business and to enjoy profits.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received transfers from Give Directly in that my living standard has improved; I can never go minus food anymore and this has improved my health. And again, I have gained financial independence which is a great development.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, what Give Directly does well is that it sends us money directly and intact, however, I would be glad if they consider other development projects withing the community like setting up training centers and workshops.
