How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from the way it would have been had I not received the transfers from Give Directly. Previously we would constantly quarrel with my husband over petty issues. I at times think that he was just frustrated that's is why he kept on shouting at us. This changed when I started receiving these transfers. He is always happy and focused. The transfers have bought peace and happiness in my family and I thank Give Directly.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
The new goal that I would wish to achieve in the next four months is to build a house. I am planning to use the money I get from the sale of milk and the savings I will have made from the casual jobs I normally do. I want to build a new house because the one I am living in currently is in bad condition. The roof usually leaks during rainy seasons. The worst part of it is that it can't be repaired any more and I am forced to build another one
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am staying a peaceful and hopeful life. This is because I bought a cow that is almost giving birth. I am hoping very soon it will give birth hence I will have milk for both domestic and for business. I know the business is quite demanding but it a risk worth taking because there is high demand for milk in this region.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have build a house because the one we are currently staying in is too small and cant comfortably accommodate my growing family. Whenever I do any casual work, I save half and buy food with the difference hence I am very confident that soon I am going to build a new house.
