What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on paying workers to cultivate my parcel of land, bought a television for entertainment and sheep that I would sell the offspring in future to take care of any emergency that might occur. I also started a business selling fresh vegetables to get income and gave my husband most of the amount that he used in paying my dowry.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that, I am a proud woman who is respected because my husband managed to pay dowry using the third transfer. I also have my own business selling fresh vegetables hence I don't depend on my husband soo much unlike before that I had nothing that I was doing which could generate income.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
