What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I plastered my main house with sand and cement since I was not comfortable smearing with clay and cow dung-the cow dung was just smelling horrible and the clay mines were very risky to us-we had several cases of it (clay mine) collapsing and burying people alive.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
As we talk, I live in my own home-a place where I freely plan and execute all my development plans without any intimidation or constraints. I am just enjoying being in my own home courtesy of Give Directly. If it were not transfers from Give Directly, I wouldn't have achieved this tremendous change!
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, Give Directly is trust-worthy and reliable with their transfers-they promise and act appropriately but I was not contented with the amount given-some of my projects couldn't be accomplished due to insufficient funds.
