What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to pay my high school son fee. Expanded my second hand clothes business. My spouse also forced me to give him 15,000 KES which he used to cement my co-wife's house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that my son who could not join high school due to lack of fee is pursuing his high school education. The second hand clothes business I expanded is doing well and feed my family without any further constrains.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that it fights poverty to the end. At the moment, I'm not aware of what GD doesn't do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on purchasing food for the family consumption, bought a decent table in my house and spent the larger percentage of the transfer on paying school fees for my bright child who has joined high school.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the joy that I have in my heart since I was able to pay school fee for my child to join high school which could have been a problem because of the small business that I operate getting income that is not enough to take care of other basic needs.

My 2 children in a primary school had been sent home for school fees and therefore when I received my first transfer, it all went to clearing for them the balances.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I anticipate that by next year, my 2 children would have joined high school and therefore my upcoming second transfer will help me pay for them school fees and again, I am selling for people second hand clothes on commission and therefore part of this money will help me start one of my own.
