What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on paying school fees. I bought two bags of maize and also started poultry farming.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I feel relieved since I managed to clear school for my child.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Gd does well in giving cash direct to recipients without passing through any other party. On the other hand I wish Gd could give us more money.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on plastering my kitchen, bought a bag of maize for the family consumption and a bull to help in farm work. I also constructed a kiosk that my wife would use to operate her business and spent most of the transfer on paying fees for my child who is in high school to settle well and acquire education.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I feel happy and stress free since my children are no longer sent away because of fees since I managed to pay some amount using the second transfer.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first cash transfer on buying building materials such as cement in preparation to build my house after I shall have received my second cash transfer. My current house is in a very bad state. so building a house is my key priority.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I'm planning to spend my upcoming cash transfer on starting a retail shop to enable me earn a daily income, I'll pay for my daughter school fees and buy two oxen for ploughing.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I would like to use part of the money to school fees for my children who are in high school. Secondly l would wish to expand on wife's business to generate more income. Lastly l would like to buy farm equipment to enhance farming to increase productivity.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I have worked hard and built my own house and l am very proud about this. Through this hard life l have managed to take my children to school and this has made very proud.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My source of income is very low and my demands are high so it is very difficult to balance and sustain my family that is the biggest hardship l am facing right now.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is when I wake up in good health and go to work hopping to get money to buy food for my family.
