What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I spent it on 60 iron sheets and the remaining 20000 KES on 2 cows and I am happy because since I received the money and bought bulls which have been facilitating my farming activities.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Initially, I was prone to famine together with my household members and again, we never had enough wealth to cushion our lives against it but when I I received transfers, we got more wealth in terms of livestock-cows, sheep and goats and again, we have expanded our farms-growing drought resistant crops like cassavas and this has improved our food security. It is how my life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, what Give Directly does well is that it sends us money directly and this ensures that money reached us intact. However, it would consider adding people more money since we are eager to continue with some of the projects that we left half way.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my transfer on investing in sugarcane farming which is doing very well. I then bought a few cattle, I bought 3 oxen for ploughing and 2 sheep which I will be rearing for future sells.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that nowadays I am very busy, I wake up early to go to the sugarcane farm then graze my cattle the rest of the day unlike before when I used to idle around the house.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Firstly, we plan to use part of the transfer to build a house for my second wife, because right now, she is staying in her cowife's house. Secondly, we intend to use another part of the transfer, to plough our farms. Lastly, we plan to use the remaining amount to buy two bulls that would help us in ploughing our farms, in partnership with other villagers.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we are proudest of is, having bought a fishing net, that we use for fishing for our sustainability.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we have faced is, providing food for our family, because of unreliable source of income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoons, when I am resting at home after my casual work, reading bible.
