How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I have a better and beautiful place to live in as I bought seats to furnish my home. I have been able to buy clothes for my children who previously had some old ones that no longer looked presentable. I have also bought hairdressing equipment to help me start my own business to help in generating income for my family.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a new goal of buying building materials like iron sheets to use in building a new house. I still live in my in-law's compound but I wish to have my own compound.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest in my daily life is that I managed to have a big transition in life by using the transfers. I have been able to fulfil most of my dreams which I could not previously. Most importantly, I have bought household items like a sofa seat to help with furnishing my house. I saved a few transfers and bought the seats that now make my house look so homely. I can receive visitors in my home without having to worry where they will sit.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
The change that I expect in my life in the next six months is to save the remaining transfers and buy building materials like iron sheets and built the new house in my own compound. I look forward to owning a new house in my own compound where my sons can build their own houses in the future.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have any new goal as I had planned so much with the transfers and the main one was to buy more building materials to build a new house.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I never imagined a life free of the stress of what meal to eat next. This is gone now, from the transfers, I am able to meet most of my family needs and to make it better, I meet them on time. Back then, I took longer in looking for jobs and most of the time I lagged behind on meeting my family's needs. I am grateful to GiveDirectly.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new additional goal is to buy equipment for use in my salon in the next four months. I want to buy this equipment and open my own salon. From this, I will be making more income as compared to what I am currently getting from the same business because I am doing it remotely and not so many people know it. I will be stationed, I will advertise my job and attract more customers.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Previously, I worried a lot when night fell. I used to sleep on a mat and instead of rejoicing going to bed to relax from the day's activities, I was worried. The mat was too hard and too uncomfortable. The fact that it was spread on the floor made it worse. Now I proudly own a mattress and a bed. I can look forward to the night because I know I will have a night of uninterrupted comfortable sleep.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I am hopeful that I shall have bought the salon equipment and opened a business premise. This shall have attracted more customers and my profits shall be more, and this also means a comfortable life for my family.
