What did you spend your third transfer on?
My husband used to hire a boat from someone and even if he went without a catch he could still pay the rented amount and this was difficult since getting food was a problem, so when I received my third transfer I used the larger portion of the amount on purchasing a boat and a fishing net . Our lives have changed drastically because we nolonger struggle to get basic needs especially food. I also bought seats in my house, decent clothes for the whole family and food that we ate as a family.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I used a total of 44000 KES to plaster my house whose house used to get eroded and needed frequent repairs which was a costly and tedious affair. The balance was all spent on buying food items for my family since we had little food left in the house at the moment.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have more time at my disposal for other work since I no-longer spend time on repairing the walls of my house.

We depend on fishing but there is a weed that has covered the lake hence making it very hard for us to fish. This has really reduced our income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Night time is our happiest part of the day for it brings us together as a family after scattering in various errands of the day.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
We have unmet needs since we have no adequate income and so these transfers will help us meet the needs.
