What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on paying school fees for my brother, bought farm fertilizers for my rice farm, bought iron sheets, murram soil, poles and spent the rest on household shopping. I am planning to grow rice on the land I leased with my second transfer and also built a house now that I am prepared with all the requirements.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference in my life the that I am having a rice farm which will make use of in the next season and plant for commercial purposes. I believe this will entire improve my living standards as well as my dependant siblings.I am so happy to have achieved this goal with the transfers from GiveDirectly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done well in sending transfers in instalments because this enable one to plan adequately. I also appreciate the idea of giving us the chance to spend on our own needs without giving conditions.
