What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a larger portion of the transfer to roof my bricks house which I built with my second transfer. Paid my 6 children in primary school fee. I also purchased foodstuffs for my family consumption.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now have a stable house which doesn't leak. Without GD, I'm sure I could have remained in the poor house I had because I didn't have any reliable source of income to better it.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that it is up to its promise to change the lives of the community to the better. At the moment, I'm not privy to what GD doesn't do well.
