What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on renovating the walls of my house to make it look descent and bought an ox which will help me in ploughing.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The difference in my life now is that I no longer spend money in ploughing my farm since I have my own oxen and other livestock which I never had before receiving the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is doing well by giving transfers straight to recipients and following up with them to assist them

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying a bull at 16,000KES, a sheep at 2,000 KES, i paid 3,500KES on school fees for my children,bought a sofaset at 3,000 KES and purchased 2 sacks of maize at 5,400 KES.I also bought 10 new iron sheet at 9,700 KES,timber at 8,000 KES because am planning to expand my house soon and the remaining money i used on food
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Being able to purchase the bull and sheep is my biggest difference in life because i never thought of onwning any livestock.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I paid secondary school fees for my son with 5500 KES of my token payment, I spent 2200 KES on a sheep and the remaining 2300 KES on a mattress.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
My house is in in bad condition and therefore I will renovate it and buy 2 oxen with my upcoming lumpsum payment.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We plan to spend the transfer to construct a bigger house. We also plan to spend the transfer to pay school fees for our children. We also plan to spend the transfer to start a business.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Our proudest achievement is that we have been able to buy a cow.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that we have faced in life is that we don't have adequate land where we can grow our crops. We usually rent land for agriculture and this is a bit expensive.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when am at the shopping centre repairing/making shoes. This has been a source of income to me and I am passionate about it.
