How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has tremendously improved in that I'm an owner of three acres of land. In the past, I used to borrow money from SACCOS in order to rent agricultural land for cultivating my crops. It was always very difficult for me to carryout agriculture since I could only afford land in distant places. This in turn affected the crop productivity since I struggled to weed and harvest my crops on time due to the long distance hence leading to low harvest.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly in my opinion has done me good by giving the cash transfers that have enabled me acquire land. And there is nothing bad that GiveDirectly has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have spent my second transfer to pay school fees for my children, buy an acre of land land and for treating my spouse.
