Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was my way to our project farm when I heard a rumour that GiveDirectly has sent the transfer so I hurriedly ran back to the place we go to get network. Upon my arrival there I did not see any message in my inbox so I decided to check my account. When I entered my pin code I saw my transfer on my phone. I felt very happy because I needed money to pay my tuition.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Before GiveDirectly could send my transfer, I used to find it difficult to provide for myself. I slept with hunger many days but I'm happy that I can eat on time and I have my own land now
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I paid my tuition and I also bought school materials for myself, land and food

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My spouse is is very busy person who attends many events. Whenever he's going, he leaves money with me but for the time he stays there, the money has blown off. Even now, he loss his mother and he will be there til the burial and until everything is settled before he comes back. Because of that reason, if I am lucky to receive this money, I will start a business. The profit from the business can be used to take care of my daughter and me while he is away. If we can get more money, we can buy our plot of land and build our house in Monrovia.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What has made in happy was when my daughter recovered from an illness that I thought she was not going to survive from. My daughter got sick and one of her hand was getting short while her neck was not standing anymore. All I ever thought at that time was that I was going to lose my daughter. But thank God that she survived and I can see her getting healthy everyday
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Some of the challenges that I am faced with are due to the fact that my husband has left and the money he left with me is finished. Even getting food to cook for my daughter and me to eat and even washing her clothes is a problem for me.
