What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my transfer on paying for my late wife's funeral arrangement and settling of hospital and mortuary bills. I then spent the rest on buying another ox that I will be using for ploughing.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have seen great difference since I started receiving this cash, I was able to give my wife late a befitting send of, I have been able to lease a large track of land that I am using for farming, I was able to buy oxen that have eased farming for me and made it faster to till land and plough it.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion the fact that we were given money to decide on what to spend on gave us the freedom to decide on various projects to undertake. I can only suggest that if possible we can continue being sent transfer however little to complete some projects that we had started.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to lease a piece of land where I can plant some maize, sweet potatoes and eucalyptus trees. I will consume part of the maize and sweet potatoes harvested while the surplus harvest will be sold at the market. The eucalyptus trees will be a source of income for me when they mature.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having been able to marry a wonderful spouse who has given birth to my children. They are my pride and joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of a sustainable source of income for myself. I often cannot afford to provide my family with some of the things that they need and this really saddens me.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning because the Lord has blessed me and my family, we have been truly blessed as we have seen another glorious day.
