What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy 20 bags of cement which I have used to cement my house and no longer worried about jiggers brought about by duty floor, steel windows and wooden doors which I have fixed on my house. I restocked my small scale retail shop which is my major source of income and also paid laborers who cemented my house. The remaining amount, I spent to pay medical bills for my child who was sick and also bought other household items which I did not have.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well in sending us transfers which has changed the lives of recipients in our community and also transfers were sent to women who are good spenders in the house. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not have restocked my business which was almost collapsing and also I would not have cemented my house which was very dusty but all this were possible because of the transfer.
