Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I recently joined a merry go round after I started receiving transfers from Give Directly. I have been saving for the last few months. I recently got my share and bought a heifer. I used the remaining amount to add stock to my shop. I don't have a new goal at the moment, I am planning to continue with our merry go round so that other members who were to receive after me will get their share too.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
In the last four months, I was on the last stages of my pregnancy and I couldn't do much considering my condition. The transfers I used to receive from GiveDirectly has been of great help to me. I used to save a lot through merry-go-round. I could spend a little for personal use then save the rest. As a pregnant woman, I would have crazy cravings and I would eat a lot. I loved fruits and I don't think I could have afforded to cater to these demands without this help. At times I would hire someone to wash for me some clothes when I felt extremely tired and sickly. I am glad I didn't put much pressure for my husband during this period.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I believe that in the next six months, the business that I recently started will haver grown because I recently added the new stock with the savings that I had. In addition to that, I also bought a heifer. To me, this is the greatest achievement. I believe that in the next six months it would have matured and started reproducing. This will be an assurance that in the coming months I would start having milk which would help me feed my family and also start earning income by selling the surplus

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I have a source of incomes from the sales of eggs. This is because I started a poultry keeping project. I'm able to meet all the basic needs of my family.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to continue saving the money in the merry go round group that we have in the village to enable me to buy a goat. This will be part of the investment to help me in case of an emergency.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I used to save some amount of money in merry go round group that we have started in our village. When it was my turn, I used all the saving from the group to buy a heifer. I'm so happy because of this achievement. I will no longer buy milk. When the cow reproduced I will be in a position to sell the milk at the market center home. This will enable me to cut the cost of buying milk which is so costly for me, my family will also have enough milk for consumption. I will use the income to pay school fees for my children in various school. I'm so happy with the support because I see the hope at the end of the tunnel. My children will be no longer sent home to collect school fees and their performance will improve greatly.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I would have saved enough in the merry go round group to buy more goats so that in case of an emergency I will send to them to cover the same.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
When we started receiving the transfers in our village, we started a merry go round grouo where we save some part of the monthly transfers. We lump up the savings and give to one member every month. When I received the lumped savings, I bought and fixed our house with tiles. My home is now clean and classy and I am happy because I can now welcome visitors without having to worry on the state of our home. I also happy that I am part of the building process where traditionally, it was only the work of the husband to build.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My goal in the next four months is to do some interior painting in my home. I have been building our home and the only remaining part is to paint. This, I plan to within the next four months.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am able to buy and stock enough food for my family from the monthly transfers that we receive. Before, I used to buy food on daily basis and this proved to be expensive in the long run. I am able to save money and use it in other productive ways such as improving my business entity.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the near future is to buy a dairy cow for rearing. Once the cow is mature enough to reproduce, I will be able to sell the milk as an extra source of income and food for my family. This will also ensure that I have an improved financial status and I will be able to save and pay for my children's school fees in the near future. I want our lifestyle as a family to improve.
