How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than if I had not received cash transfer in that, I now sleep in a better house than before when I used to sleep in a grass thacthed house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly has done well by giving unconditional cash transfer which has enabled me to build a semi permanent house. I do not see what they have not done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second cash transfer worth 1,633,000ugx, I used it all for buying building materials and paying builders for my semi permanent house.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that he now Ann to buy a variety of food to supplement his diet.

The moment I received my first transfer, I felt a lot of excitement.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer, I have bought building materials like soil, iron sheets and poles in order to construct a semi permanent house for my household with 1,050,000ugx. The balance of 650,000ugx is still in cash form and I will use it for my house's construction and feeding.

The biggest hardship i face is lack of money to make me build better permanent house.

The happiest part of the day is evening hours , i rest while chatting with my spouse.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will help me build a permanent house for my family. The current house i sleep with my family is in collapsing state. This possesses a risk to my family life.
