What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy a cow for rearing and also to provide my family with milk and the remaining amount I spent to buy two sacks of maize for consumption.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have the transfer, I would not have paid school fees for my children, I would not have bought my cow and also I would still be living a difficult life

In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in that, it has uplifted the living standards of recipient through cash transfer. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my transfer on paying school fee for my son and daughter both who are in high school to allow them a smooth year in school. I then bought a sack of corn which we are using for our feeding and then spent the rest on farming. I have gown maize and beans which will save me from buying food and the money can be spent on something else.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am assured of my children's education because I wake up everyday knowing they will never be sent home for fee.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
My first plan is to use part of the transfer to buy sixteen cushions for my chairs, and a mattress to sleep on. Secondly, I intend to use another part of the transfer to build a house where my two boys would sleep. Lastly, I intend to buy a cow that would provide us with milk for family use.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Having bought two sheep with savings from my small business of selling fish, is the achievement I'm very proud of.

The biggest hardship I have faced is providing food for my family to eat because of insufficient income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the afternoon, when I am weaving ropes that I sell to the villagers for an income.
