What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my third transfer on buying three dairy cows 36,000 KES and now have my own livestock which I am sure that they will reproduce and in case of any emergency I can sell some to solve them. I also paid school fees for my two son who are in high school.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I have my own livestock such as three dairy cows and now I am assured that they will reproduce and in case of any emergency I can sell some and solve . I also paid school fees for my two son who are in high school and they are now going to school comfortably.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly is a trustworthy organisation as they fulfill promises and they work in an organised way which enable them reach their promises in terms of money as they stipulated.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on paying school fees for my two sons who are in high school one being in form three and form four respectively. At the same time I enrolled my son who is in form three in boarding school.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am stress free since I have settled the burden of paying school fees for my sons who are in high school. This is the greatest achievement that GiveDirectly has made it for me and I will always be greatful to them for seeing my sons through their education.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We plan to invest our transfer on rice farming by paying for labour and buying seeds, lastly we intend to use the remaining amount to pay school fees for our children in secondary school, one is in form three and the other in form one.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we're proudest of is having been able to educate our eldest child through college.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Our biggest hardship currently is on paying school fees for our two children in secondary school. Most of the times they are sent home due to fees arrears.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I'm cultivating in my rice farm.This is my main source of livelihood.
