What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on building my self a bigger and more spacious house since my other house was very small and squeezed. I then paid school fee for my child who recently joined form one at the local secondary school. I then spent the rest of the cash on buying food for my family.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because these transfers enabled me pay school fee for my two children and they have never been sent home for fee since they joined school early this year.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give directly is a very transparent organization that does not condone corruption. I think that follow up should be done physically and not over the phone.

I spent my second transfer on buying a cow at 22,000 KES, 2 goats at 4,500 KES, 2 sacks of maize at 7,600 KES and i have kept the rest of the money in my savings account for my children who are yet to join(secondary)high school next year.

The biggest difference in my life is having bought my own livestock.

I am planning to spend my transfer on livestock and also on school fees for my two children who are going to join form one next year. I am also planning to spend part of my transfer on food.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is being able to feed my family even through tough times.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is struggling to take care of my two orphaned grandchildren while not having enough money or a steady source of income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I am herding my goats.
