What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my third transfer on building a two roomed house and now I am happy and I feel comfortable in it unlike before when I was staying in a small one roomed house.I also built a kitchen hence I no longer cook outside the house.

My life is different than it would have been if I never received that transfer in that I have a decent two roomed house and now I am happy and I feel comfortable in it unlike before when I used to stay in a small one -roomed house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well by giving money directly which is non- refundable hence the households which received the money have done big projects with their transfers such as building decent houses.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to construct a new and bigger house because the previous one was very small and quite uncomfortable to stay in. I used the remaining amount to start a small business of selling daily household items in a shop to raise more income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is being able to move from a very small house to one that is decent and big enough. I can now comfortably arrange my belongings neatly in my new house. The business I started gives me income that enables me to buy food and other basic needs.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I'm planning to spend my transfer on expanding my small business of selling household items since this is my only source of income,lastly I will use the remaining amount to go to college whereby I intend to do an accounting course.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is having been able to build this current house, I stay with my other four younger siblings. When our parents passed on the house they built collapsed leaving us homeless.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm facing currently is on making ends meet,I'm the sole provider for our family and depends only on the small business I run . This does not give much to help with fending for them.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when normally I receive a lot of customers in my shop,this always translates into some profit which I can use to buy food for my siblings and myself.
