What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer to buy three cows, three goats and hired two gardens for a year at 100,000ugx each.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion Give Directly did well to give me money which has enable me to acquire many things in my home.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is full of hope after getting money because i was able to take my child who was born with abnomality of a big head for treatment. Though he can't still walk there is some life in him because we feed him well and his body is looking good.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first - 1,500,000 ugx transfer on buying a motorcycle because it has always been my dream. It is going to help me to generate a daily income to support my family. Then 200,000 ugx to purchase some household items like plates, cups, source pans among others.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money at midnight, I felt very excited and anxious. I could not get back to sleep as I felt like picking up my money at that very moment.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have now got my own motocycle that is earning me a daily income to support my family. Unlike before, my family and I were unable to constantly feed but now, we can afford daily meals.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that i am facing is hunger. I do not have land that i can cultivate so usually if i fail to get money for hiring then i don't farm hence no food and hunger results.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is usually in the evning when all members of the family are at home and we are chatting stories especially after supper.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means i will be able to buy household utensils and buy a piece of land that i can farm in.
