What does receiving this money mean to you?
Recieving this money means a better life for me and my family, since I cleared my secondary school and got married, I have been looking for an opportunity of joining Kenya Armed Forces, but I have not managed and, I thought of starting a business in a nearby center, Givedirectly transfers will enable me realize my dreams of having a shop and from the income I will get, it will expand my other developments.
I plan to use KES. 80,000 to start the business and the remaining to buy food.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the morning, when I wake up and plan for the day, I love working and so it's the time I go to the nearby center and look any job that I can do.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Since I got married and that I didn't have a job to do we have really been struggling with my wife to earn a living and so sometimes we go without taking meals some of the days, I really thank Givedirectly for coming to my home and I believe my will change.
