What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent on leasing a piece of land for growing rice, invested as business capital for selling clothes and spent the rest on buying food for daily consumption.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference in my life is having my own business which has made me independent and enable me to pay school fees for my children consistently unlike before when they were often sent home to collect school fees.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well in giving us transfers directly wothout letting pass through the hands of corrupt leaders. Moreso, their staffs are very friendly and handles us with lots of care and tolerance.

I spent my second transfer on buying furniture so that my family can get a place to sit on, I also spent it on buying a sewing machine so that I can start sewing business for income to feed and provide for my family.

The biggest difference in my life is the comfort with which my family are living now as I've furnished my house and also I'm engaged in the sewing business which not only a place to work daily but also a source of income to feed and provide for my family.

I would like to use part of the money to open up a business to generate income to help sustain our source of income . Secondly l would wish to buy household items for my house to avoid borrowing from neighbors. Finally l would like to buy a cow to help us in future.

My proudest achievement is that we managed to educate some of our children.

My biggest hardship in life is lack of proper source of income to support my family.

My happiest part of the day is in morning when working in my farm hopping to get good harvest.
