How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before the transfer, I hadn't considered owning a bicycle. Since receiving these transfers, I would like to own my own bicycle. I would use it to travel to places. I might also consider using it for business. My goal now is to find money to buy myself a bicycle.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion there is nothing that Give Directly does not do well. In helping communities by giving them cash, Give Directly has managed to change the lives of many people.

I spent my most recent transfers on 3 bags of cement, 2 blankets, 3 bags of maize, some clothes, a mattress and 5 household dishes.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving money from Givedirectly to me mean that the organisation just want to help poor people, without any profit, in order for them to get their needs such as food, clothes, improve their shelters and other things

The happiest part of my day is evening because it is time for me and family to stay together and chart
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced in my life is poverty whic has exercabated lack of food and many basic needs as you can see there is no reliable source of income in this area
