How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from the way it was four months ago in that I now have enough supply of food because part of the money I spent on farming and I got a good harvest. I also have a spacious a decent house.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Water is a major challenge in our area so for the next four months I have a goal of looking for ways of buying a water tank for water storage.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving money from GiveDirectly is that I feel so happy and proud I now have an upto standard house. Wheneber I see the house I always kneel and thatnk God for such an amazing gift.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to have bought a water rtank to help solve the water challenge. I also expect to have fenced my home to enhance security.

Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
My new goal is to buy materials and complete my house that for a long time has been in an incomplete state due to lack of money.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently because, I can now fully concentrate on my farm work unlike before when I had to juggle between casual jobs to earn some money and taking care of my own farm.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six moths,I expect to have completed my house and I will be living in a decent house. I also expect that I will have completed my children's school fee balances which will enable them to settle well in school without the interruptions of being sent back home.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Since I started receiving payments from Give Directly,my daily life has greatly changed because my family can now feed very well and we are also able to buy items that we could not afford before like beautiful clothes for our children.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is having an unreliable source of income which makes it difficult to provide food for my large family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening after the day's activities and going to bed because I am always relaxed at this time.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am plannning to spend my transfer on expansion and renovation of my house. In addition to that, I will spend the rest of the transfer on building a toilet.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of was using a blend of mechanized farming methods and local manure on my farm which resulted in a bumper harvest of 6 bags of maize, a bag of sorghum and half a bag of beans. The good farm produce sustained my family for a long period of time.
