Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Now that my house is beautiful after the plastering that I just did with my second transfer, with new seats that I also purchased using the same money, I have new plans. Before this program was launched in our village,I had plans of leaving to the capital city in search of employment so that I could pay my children's school fees and plaster my house which was not looking so good on the inside. This meant that my children were going to be home alone which is not a good thing considering their age which requires close supervision. With most of my problems solved, I have now cancelled all of those plans and will now stay close to my children.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
When I received the first transfer, I had been very sick for a long time but could not manage to get proper medical attention due to lack of money. During the period that I was sick,my children suffered a lot because I could not afford to raise money to feed them and they could not depend on their father who abandoned them years ago. After the money came, I went to the hospital for a proper medical checkup which was so helpful as I was finally fully treated. This gave me back the strength to go back to my daily hustles and once again got back to taking good care of my children.I was also living in a very bad house that had only been plastered on the outside by my husband who felt embarrassed that he had built my co-wife a semi permanent house while I was living in a mud house. Anyone passing from far would think that my house was also a semi-permanent as my co-wife's but on a closer look, no one would believe what was on the inside . After I received the transfers I plastered the rest of the house which now looks better.I am no longer embarrassed to have visitors inside my house with the fear of them discovering the ugliness I was hiding
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
Now that I have taken care of one of my biggest problem which was to plaster my house and have decent seats as well, my focus is now fully directed to ensuring that my children's school fees are paid on time. My children still owe a lot in their respective schools even after using part of my transfers to pay some of their fees. I hope that in six months time,I will have cleared all the balances so that I can reduce the strain I am currently having to work extra hard so that I can earn the money for the fees and other household requirements.
