What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying food for my family and beddings like mattress and blanket which i didn't have.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in such a way that that i have been able to consistently provide food for my family since there has been a long drough. This would have not been possible with out this transfer. I would probably have starved to death with my family
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion I Give Directly has done well to bring about development in our area. Through the money given people have built houses bought solar panels and even started small businesses which will be earning them more income. It's a good organization which hasn't done anything bad.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
Yes, iron sheets and timber! I used my first transfer on iron sheets and timber to roof my house which was going to fall on me because it was weak, but it is now strong and I am happy.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was cleaning utensils and I incoming message on my mobile phone. It was money from GiveDirectly and I felt so good and happy.

I am planning to spend my transfer on renovating my house and the remaining balance to buy land to expand my cultivation coverage.

My proudest achievement is buying a plot of land on which I settled my family.

My biggest hardship is providing basic needs to my children and paying school fees for my children.

My happiest part of the day is in the afternoon when I am having a meal with my family.
