What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for paying school fees of 385,000ugx for my daughter. I bought a mattress at 85,000ugx, a solar panel of 120,000ugx and kitchen utensils. I have kept the balance of the money and i intend to use it for paying my tuition.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly did well to sensitise us on scams, it also did well to give us money. There is nothing that Give Directly did not do well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if i never received money in that i have been able to acquire many household items that i did not have, with this money i managed to complete the payment of the plot, i now have hope of going back to school to upgrade in the nursing course. This money has also enabled me to take my daughter to a private boarding school which is far much better than a government day school where she has been. Above all feeding has grately improved and am so grateful to Give Directly.
