What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
During war war 2, my dependable daughter was killed. I have many children, but she was really helpful to me. I developed pressure due to the worry and hardly sleep. I bought radio with part of my initial transfer to help me ease the stress. I normally play my traditional songs which sometimes help me to forget the past. I am purchasing house materials to build a house of my own through the help of Givedirectly cash transfer program.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I will build a house for my family when I receive the transfer. Currently I live in a house that belongs to a Lady, but I'm uncomfortable here because whatever I do,I'm reminded by her that I'm living in a free house. My children cannot play anywhere around the house freely because it doesn't belong to us,and it affects them mentally,so I want to build a house so that my children and I can be at peace and play freely without anyone bothering you them.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What really brought joy to my life over the last 6 months was when my foster daughter bought me clothes, slippers and food. I was happy because she thought of me and didn't forget me as a mother since she moved. I normally don't wear new clothes or slippers because I have a lot of children to feed,so by her sending me the clothes and slippers,I was able to wear something new to church first Sunday.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenges I'm facing currently are my health and my husband's health. I was diagnosed of sugar sickness few months ago and due to that,I can no longer do any farm work to support my family, and my husband came down with stroke few months ago also,he cannot walk. Due to our health problems, we can't do anything to support our family anymore, people have to help us with money, food and other things before we survive.
