What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent a portion of my third transfer on a set of sofa to furnish my house which had previously been furnished by 3 plastic chairs that were borrowed from my neighbor. Secondly, I purchased a bag of maize and other food stuffs for my children. Despite being a widow, I can brag that Give Directly has greatly improved my living standard. My children too are comfortably living and able to access all the basic needs as they wish.

What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement that I am proudest of is that when my husband died I did not have a house but I managed to do some casual work as a waiter in a hotel and I saved the cash that I earned which I used in building the house that I now stay in.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face in my life is that getting food for my family is not easy as I only depend on casual jobs and if I don't manage to get one in a day then my family will have no food to eat.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I manage to get a casual job when I go out in the morning as this assures me that my family will have food to eat in the evening when I go back to the house.
