What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I am living my bonus years on earth currently and this transfer would mean a decent living for me. Since I have been depending on my grandchildren to fend for me, I will have the opportunity to provide for myself hence reducing the burden on them. I plan on purchasing chicken and goats to rear for resale. This will ensure I have a sustainable source of income and enough money to purchase food. At the same time, I will use the transfers to seek proper medication for myself. I am thankful as the transfers will enable me to lead a happy better life and educate one of my grandchildren.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Every day is a happy day to me since I am 97 years old. I thank God for enabling me to see other days in my life, also my great-grandchildren give me joy in life when I see them growing well to a better life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Old age is the greatest challenge for me, I am no longer able to fend for myself as a result I rely on my grandchild to provide everything I need. At the same time, I am becoming more vulnerable to diseases. I hardly sleep at night due to the pain I carry. If I get the proper medication , it may be of help to get more strength to carry on with life.
