How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I am consulted in the village because I used the money in a good way like fixing good door and windows which has never been done before.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to pay dowry because that is when my wife will be legaly recognized as mine.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I have fixed windows and a door since I did not any window and my door was weak.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have paid dowry to have my wife as legaly mine.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference is that I was able to buy cement to plaster my house and now I stay in a beautiful house.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
By then I shall have finished plastering my house. I am also planning to buy livestock which I will rear to earn my family some income during emergencies..

I am now happy as I have money to enable me accomplish my goals. I plastered my house and bought steel doors and windows to enhance my home security..

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face in life is meeting the daily basic needs of my family. The casual jobs I depend on are scarce and are majorly seasonal hence I miss opportunities oftenly.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is morning when I wake up to seek new opportunities which can earn some income to support the family.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to spend my transfers on cementing my house so as to look neat. I will also spend part on replacing some old sheets on roofing with new ones.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having built myself an iron roofed house with the savings I made from the casual jobs. I had a grass thatched house which leaked during rainy seasons.
