How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I now have Livestock which I hope will multiple in future and I will sell some to support my family and build my permanent structure. I would not have got this Livestock if I never received my transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my GiveDirectly has done well by supporting youth to go back to school and sensitising people on how to use the transfer. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have spent my second transfer on purchasing Livestock at UGX 1,200,000, transport UGX 30,000, clothing/household goods at UGX 100,000, food ( beans,rice,matooke) at UGX 252000. There is a balance of UGX 50,000 which I'm planning to spend on buying books for my children who are going back to school soon.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is having means of transport in the bicycle I bought and i am proud of it.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt so happy because we didn't know how cash gets into the phone.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy a bicycle, paid school fees, paid a debt, and the balance I intend to buy a bull soon.

Receiving this money means I will be able to buy oxen and an ox-plough to support my farming activity.

I am happiest in the evening when I know my tasks of the day have been achieved.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is inadequacy of money to meet the scholastic needs of my children.
