Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal for the next four months is to be able to do farming. I want to start practicing farming with an aim of diversifying my sources of income and improving my living standards even more.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life after receiving this transfer is the increase in income. I was also able to buy a cow. This cow has increased the level of income that I get after calfing. This income has greatly improved my living standards by a great extent and I am so grateful to GiveDirectly for the transfers that transformed my life up until now.

In the next six months, I expect my life to change in that I will be more economically empowered than I am right now. I expect to have established my farm and more improved livestock keeping and change my life a lot.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we have faced is the inability to provide enough food for the household. Life can be really difficult when you have to buy almost everything in the household. With limited resources and sources of income available, some times we have had to sleep hungry as a family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when I am playing soccer with my colleagues. I have an amazing team that gives me good company.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to use part of my transfer in horticultural farming. I also have plans of buying livestock which will go a long way in assisting us meet our daily needs at household level.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Last year, we were blessed as a family when we had a huge harvest from our maize plantation. For a long time we had not been able to harvest as huge as we had last year. We put in a lot of effort to ensure that we got this harvest and I considered it an achievement to have been able to harvest over 20 sacks of maize.
