Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Before this cash transfer, I had nowhere to farm a part from only the wet land which does not favour some crops like cassava. However, I have now where to farm. Currently, I am clearing it. In addition, I have added another ox thus owning oxen. I nolonger had to hire from other community members.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I got money, I felt happy because I was going to solve some problems like buying things I never had like mattress and adding another ox.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I bought an ox worth UGX 1,200,000, loaned out UGX 300,000 and got farm land and bought clothes / housholdgoods (a bed and two mattresses worth UGX 120,000 and gave gifts worth UGX 80,000.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is lack of money to enable me buy oxen and ox-plough for ploughing my gardens.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest moment is during afternoon hours. This is when i play ludo game with friends in a near by centre called olilim.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
The transfers shall help me buy oxen and ox-plough for ploughing. My father gave me a share of land but i do not have oxen and ox-plough to maximize its use.
