Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the overwhelming joy I feel having got back land that was mortgaged long time ago. I am now delighted because I have a farm of my own and my children can farm extensively to sustain themselves. Prior to getting this money given that I only have my plot of land to myself and children, people knew me at a casual laborer as it was all I had to do to sustain my family. My husband had left me years ago with six children that I managed to bring up among many hardships.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I really felt happy and exicited. This money will save me from a lot of poverty as it would help me resolve many financial issues.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer and got back my two acres of land at Ugx1000000 that my spouse has given out in exchange for money that I can not tell how it was used. I then bought some house hold items such as a bed, two mattresses, bed sheets, shoes, curtains, 2 hand hoes, and food for feeding my family. I paid up fees for my son who does some training at a garage.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to build an iron roofed house because the one that I sleep in currently leaks. I also intend to take care of my children's education needs using this same money. As I speak, some of my children have had to drop out of school because of my inability to provide. I believe if my children study, they will be able to get jobs that can earn them some money and support me also at my old age.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the evening when I am seated with my children. We plan how best to survive.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of money to take care of my household needs. Though I am in marriage, my husband does not support me. I leave like a single parent because he got taken up by another woman. I try as much as I can to provide for the family but it seems to me that my effort does not add up. My children had to drop out of school because I could not raise money to pay their school fees. Feeding itself is a big charllage in my household because I have never had money to buy land for cultivation from which I would get food. I am struggling alone with my children.
