What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I will prioritize educating my son. He's been at home for almost three years. When he's successful in getting a certificate in taxation, he can get employed. The cost of the course is roughly $300. It means he can compete with others of the same level. Our house is in bad shape, it's been destroyed by the hot sun and strong rains sometimes. Hence we plan to repair it, I once talked to a constructor and said it can cost approximately $400. An improved house means a better sleeping environment and hosts our guests proudly. We'll also have a small investment. Goats do well here, they multiply fast. I plan to invest in about five goats. One goat sells at about $50. When the stock is grown, we can sell for emergency needs or even pay school fees for our younger children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Our family of five has stayed healthy for a long period. I'm happy to see them healthy and able to do their day to day activities.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My son completed secondary education in the year 2022. He's been with us since then. I feel bad not being able to raise fees for tertiary education. It means he's been left out by his peers who've proceeded with higher education. He wants to study a course in Taxation. I'd be happy to support him but I'm not able to. It stresses me seeing him at home just doing nothing.
