What did you spend your second transfer on?
I paid a loan of 800,000 ugx which I had borrowed to complete the construction of my house. The balance of 700,000 ugx I spent it to buy household items, clothings and food, and also a portion of it is taking care of my hospital bills.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly did well to help us the needy who had no hopes in the future. I am so happy and I appreciate the cash transfers. However there is nothing that givedirectly has not done well so far.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would have died without staying in an iron roofed house, but thanks to give directly my life is different now. I would still be sleeping in a grass thatched house full of rodents and dust.
