What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy building materials like cement, nails, Y8 for linton and also paid laborers who were building my house and the remaining amount, I spent to pay college fees for my child.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I have built a house which I would not have done since I have children in school and could not afford to pay fees at the same time build a house, but all this was possible due to the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has developed our community through cash transfer which has changed the living standards of recipients. I have not seen anything that Gd did not do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on paying fee arrears for my child to be allowed to pick her certificate in school and spent most of the transfer on building a permanent house since the previous one was old and could leak during rainny seasons.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, very soon I will be moving in my spacious permanent house built using the second transfer hence will no longer be staying in the old mud house. I am also happy because my child can join a college since I managed to clear her fee arrears and she has her certificate to apply for any proffesional course to pursue.

I plan to use the transfer on building a bigger house for my family because my current is small and in a poor state.Then l will spend the remaining amount on buying food my family.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Being to pay school fees for my first born daughter in secondary school is my proudest achievement.l used my savings working as a househelp and goverment bursaries to pay her school fees.She is sitting for her form four final exams this year.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship in my life is paying school fees for my other children in secondary and primary school .My income is not enough to pay their school fees so sometimes there are send home because of fees balances.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the evening when spending time with my children.l assist them with their home work after we've taken dinner together.
