What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of my third transfer to buy a bull which unfortunately died, I hired a plots for farming to increase my food security. I bought sand and cement which I have used to renovate my house form mud to plastered, the remaining amount, I spent to buy food for my family.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have recieved the transfer, I would not have enrolled my child in college, I would not have bought an ox-plough. Thank you GD for the transfer
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in sending us transfers which has changed the lives of recipients in our village through building of houses and starting own businesses and there was not biases on part of GD staffs while visiting homesteads in our village. I have not seen anything that GD has not done well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, the first thing I did was to spend 24000 KES on an oxen and enrolled my son in a technical college to study welding. I am pleased that I can now plow my farms with a lot of ease and more conveniently, my son is also getting training that will make his life brighter in the future.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life with that of my household members have transformed. I have acquired an oxen and as a farmer, I don't need to cultivate my farms with a hoe but instead plow withan ox-driven plow which makes work easier-plowing a larger part of the farm within the shortest time possible. We can now use less energy but harvest more. That is the biggest difference I can mention in my daily life.

My proudest achievement is having educated my son up to secondary school level, this was possible because I saved up quite a tidy sum of money after selling my farm produce.

The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of enough money to adequately cater for my families basic needs, I do not have a sustainable source of income and this really affects my family because I usually cannot afford to buy them everything they need.
